Words of Kim Chae-Yeon

So today Cherry and I were discussing my friend from Seoul is coming down (Seung Han)and that Cherry and I are also going for lunch before that. So...
I say jokingly:
"I'm scared. Boys are scary to meet"
Cherry says matter-of-factly, like she explains this all of the time:
"Boys are not scary, you just have to show them who's boss."
I could not stop laughing.... REMEMBER, she's 9!!!

Then we were moving her bugs around. (She had a beetle it laid 14 eggs and died, now there are 10ish beetles, in the worm phase of growing. They are gross. I can't look at them.) They keep growing so we have to keep moving them into bigger containers. (They all have to be separated, because they eat each other, that is why there is only 10, they crawled into their neighbors cups and ate them -cannibalism-!!!) So Cherry is leaning over the container where her mum is pouring the bugs and dirt from their old cups, and at this point there are 5 or 6 in the container, Cherry goes "This is fantastic" going higher on the 'antas' part of fantastic and like this was the most interesting and best thing she's ever seen. We laughed, it may not seem funny, but picture her saying if if you have seen the pictures of her, pig tails and all. 'Fantastic' and bugs should never go together.
